"Again"

You're dreaming about me again,
You see me in your dreams again.

You're happy to see me there again,
You wrap your arms around me again.
You kiss my lips again,
You say you miss me again,
You say you love me again.

But then—
You open your eyes again,
You can’t find me again,
You know that I’m gone again.

You cry uncontrollably all over again,
You failed me again,
You murdered me again.

And yet—
You smile again.

The doctors enter your room again,
You fight them off again,
You refuse to take the pills again.

You scream—
"I’m not crazy!" again.

And the cycle continues...
All over again.
